The terms and conditions here apply to the use of this website, placing orders, competitions and promotions. By using this Website you are agreeing to be bound by the appropriate terms and conditions.
All content and photography on site is copyright to Appleyard London (unless stated otherwise). Our photography cannot be replicated elsewhere without our permission & consent. We use external sources for our gift card designs, to view the credit to the author, see here.
The reproduction of the colours of our products are as accurate as the photographic and production process will allow. Flowers are natural products and therefore it is accepted there will be variances between the colour and shape of each individual flower.
All matters concerning and incidental to any offer or agreement for the purchase and sale of goods from our website shall be in English and construed and governed according to English law and the English courts shall have jurisdiction in all such matters.
When placing an order you accept to receive all communications offered by Appleyard London. Or for your recipient to receive dispatch notifications should you leave their details after payment. To opt out of this communication you may unsubscribe through the communications you receive or by contacting our customer service team.
We reserve the right to change all or some of the contents or packaging to provide an item of equal or greater value without notice. All products are subject to availability. Products may be delivered in bud to ensure longer life.
Bouquet contents may be harmful if eaten or cause skin irritation - please contact us if you require further information before submitting an order.
Our roses are dispatched with the guard petals intact to protect the flower during transit. Upon receipt please remove any brown, dark or discoloured outer guard petals.
Please be aware most lilies are considered toxic to cats and caution should be taken. Certainly the following varieties are known to be poisonous: The Easter Lily (Lilium Longiflorum), Tiger Lily (Lilium Tigrinum), Rubrum Lily (Lilium Speciosum) and the Japanese Show Lily (Lilium Lancifolium).
A standard flower delivery charge starting from £5.99 will be added to your order for deliveries anywhere on mainland UK unless otherwise stated for courier/named day delivery. Delivery prices may vary for each product.
For your order to be processed and delivered on the required date, you must supply us with all the relevant details of the recipient including full delivery details. By placing an order with us, you confirm that you are over the age of 16 years old. It is a criminal offence for a person under 18 to purchase or attempt to purchase alcohol and that it is also an offence to purchase alcohol on behalf of a person under 18.
As a responsible retailer, we are committed to ensuring that age-restricted products do not fall into the hands of underage individuals. For this reason, we do not sell or deliver to anyone under the age of 18. Our delivery carriers will verify the age of any customer they believe may be under 25 when purchasing restricted products. You may be asked to provide proof of age upon delivery.
Acceptable forms of identification include:
- A current passport or equivalent national identity card that includes a photo and date of birth (regardless of nationality).
- A valid photographic driving licence or provisional licence, along with the date of birth (all nationalities).
- A PASS (Proof of Age Standards Scheme) card.
If suitable identification is not provided upon delivery, the carrier will return the parcel to the depot and notify us of the refusal, at which point we will issue a refund.
Your order will only be processed if full payment details are given. All orders made on appleyardflowers.com are processed by Ecomnova Limited.
Your order will be acknowledged via e-mail confirming your details if you enter a correct e-mail address, on the understanding that delivery is subject to availability. You will also be issued an order reference number for any future correspondence. Acceptance of the order will take place on the allocation of the goods to your order.
Payment may be made by any of the methods indicated on the flowers payment page and will be debited when you place your order. If any credit or debit card offered for payment is declined by the card provider, we will make every effort to contact you on the number given at the time of ordering for an alternative form of payment. If, for whatever reason, we are unable to contact you and an alternative form of payment is not provided, the order will be cancelled.
You will be charged the current price for buying goods from our website on the date you place your order. All prices are displayed on our website and are inclusive of VAT. We do our best to make sure that prices are correctly shown but very occasionally an error may occur due to systems failure. If this should happen or the VAT rate changes, we will correct the price and ask you to confirm whether or not you wish us to complete your order.
Unfortunately, due to the fresh nature of our products, lengthy periods of time spent in transit can cause the quality of our flowers to deteriorate. As a result, there are restrictions on the following postcodes:
Unable to deliver to: AB, DD6 - DD11, EH35 - EH36, FK14, FK17 - FK21, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KA27 - KA28, KW, KY9 - KY16, PA20 - PA80, PH6 - PH99, TR21 - TR25, ZE.
Once you have subscribed to Appleyard Privilege, you are entitled to use the free delivery options of ‘Free Standard Tracked Delivery’. Appleyard Privilege is valid for 12 months from the initial date of purchase, at the cost at time of purchase. Your account will be automatically rebilled for the same price on the date your membership expires.
Free delivery can be used on flower bouquets and plants at appleyardflowers.com. Free delivery cannot be used on Flower Subscriptions, Personalised Gifts, Hampers & Alcohol. Free delivery is unlimited for the 12 month period and can be used on any purchase of flowers and plants.
You may cancel your Appleyard Privilege membership within 14 days of purchase. A full refund will be given provided there have been no eligible purchases made using Privilege. To cancel your Appleyard Privilege membership please contact our Customer Services team. This will be processed within 14 days. Appleyard Privilege is limited to 1 membership per customer only. Privilege can only be used for personal use and not for commercial resale or wholesale purposes. In times of high demand or in exceptional circumstances, we reserve the right to change your delivery service to a different option to ensure your order arrives on time.
We reserve the right to make temporary changes to Appleyard Privilege during times of high demand. Your service will be returned to normal as soon as possible. We reserve the right to terminate your Appleyard Privilege account should we suspect any fraudulent activity or a breach in terms and conditions. Appleyard Privilege is currently not available for Appleyard Corporate customers. All general Appleyard London terms and conditions still apply
If you purchase a subscription for repeated deliveries or other ongoing services, then you authorise Appleyard London and its service providers to bill your credit card or other payment method for the amounts and at the intervals described on our Service (or at approximately those intervals, to accommodate for holidays and other irregularities) until the end of the Subscription period or indefinitely if you decide to purchase an ongoing Subscription. In cases where your credit card expires, or is otherwise declined for any reason, we will not continue to deliver bouquets or renew your Subscription, though we may, but are not obligated to, contact you to notify you of the issue.
We reserve the right to adjust pricing for any subscription in any manner and at any time and at our absolute discretion.
You may cancel your subscription at any time by submitting a contact form here and selecting ‘I have a subscription’ as the Query Type, ‘Cancel Subscription’ as the secondary reason and explain why you would like to cancel in the body of the form.
Fresh flower cancellations and changes are possible up to 48 hours prior to delivery however during peak periods orders are processed upto 4 days in advance and therefore no changes are possible during this time.
Due to the perishable nature of many products you are advised to make any complaint within 2 working days of the delivery date of your products.
We guarantee seven days freshness for your flowers, plants or associated items from the date of delivery. If any flowers arrive damaged, die or wilt within seven days of delivery please redeem your 100% happiness guarentee here
Flowers and Plants can only be returned if found to be faulty. Your statutory rights are not affected.
For personalised jewellery, due to the personalised nature of the products unwanted goods cannot be returned. This does not affect your statutory rights. Replacements and refunds will be dealt with on a case by case basis and will be at our discretion. Products can be returned if they are found to be damaged or faulty, however any such complaint must be made within 14 days of receipt. Please contact us before returning an item so we can advise you on the best way to do this.
For most items you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods. However this does not apply to certain items which we have made, personalised or customised specifically to you. It also does not apply to perishable goods.
Cancellations for flowers and plants can only be accepted if received 48 hours before the requested delivery date. Orders placed or cancelled on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays will be treated as having been received by us on the following working day. For practical reasons, flowers are non-returnable.
Due to their nature, these offers are subject to availability. In the event of supply difficulties, we will substitute flowers or packaging of equal quality and value.
For personalised gifts, due to the personalised nature of the product, cancellations can only be made prior to production. If it is possible to cancel your order we will make every effort to do so. Once the product has been personalised, orders cannot be cancelled.
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if
- We have insufficient stock to deliver the products you have ordered
- The price or description of the products was listed incorrectly due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers.
If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by email and refund any sum paid by you to your credit or debit card. We will not be obliged to offer any compensation for loss or disappointment suffered by you.
